Hushable was born because we needed our life back.

We thought our nursery was ready, but when we our baby arrived we discovered how well sound travelled through our home. After finally putting the baby down, we found ourselves unable to do anything. We were so afraid of making noise that we often sat in silence.

Overstimulated and overtired, I found myself doing what many parents do — turning the white noise machines up louder, desperately trying to block out every sound.
